Vinay Pathak’s next

Vinay Pathak has made his presence felt in B-Town with his different roles that have never been similar to each other. He made it sure that his characters were always close to reality as well as thoroughly interesting.

With the film ‘Straight’ directed by Parvathy Balagopalan, he is experimenting with a new role and a new concept. Although being made as a comedy, the film tires to explore a serious issue prevailing in our society. The story of the film focuses on the way most of the people find it difficult to openly express their thoughts.

Vinay plays a man named Pinu Patel who is the owner of a restaurant named “Gaylord” in London.Although well off financially, Pinu is bogged down by several complexes that makes him sad. The most annoying of the thoughts that exist inside Pinu is due to the fact that he is a virgin.

Gul Panag plays the character of Renu who is an art student and completely modern in her views. Gul feels that the comedy in the film is completely situational. And even though the characters will be seen experiencing difficult situations and getting disturbed, the viewers will find the situations comical.

So folks get set for a fun ride with ‘Straight’!
